HGV Class 1 Driver - Droitwich

We are currently recruiting for full time HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent roles in our depot in Droitwich. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, with Tail lift and cages. 

Immediate starts for successful candidates and a permanent fulltime contract.

Shift available:

  • Wednesday to Sunday start  01:00
  • Thursday to Monday start 04:00
  • Friday to Tuesday start 00:30
  • Thursday to Monday start between 02:00 - 04:00
  • Wednesday to Sunday start between 02:00 - 04:00
  • Wednesday to Sunday start between 13:00 - 15:00
  • Thursday to Monday start between 13:00 - 15:00
  • Wednesday to Sunday start between 19:00 - 22:00

Pay rates: 

  • Monday – Friday  £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
  • Saturday £17.85
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates:

  • Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
  • Saturday £20.39
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only! 

What we are looking for:

  • In date DIGI and CPC card
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
  • Willing to work weekends.
  • Motivated and open to learn new skills.
  • Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

  • Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
  • Prepping vehicles for delivery.
  • Completing vehicles checks.
  • Refuelling vehicles.
  • The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
