Location: Redditch

Hours: Mon- Thurs 8am-4.30 pm/Fri 8am-1.30 pm

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Basis: Temp - Perm

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Technician to join our team. The primary role involves linishing and flatting back welds, drilling panels, and installing riv-nuts. This position does not involve welding due to limited welding machine availability. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Linishing Welds: Smooth out welds to achieve a clean, finished surface.
• Flatting Back Welds: Remove excess material and ensure the welds are flush with the surrounding surface.
• Drilling Panels: Accurately drill holes in panels as per specifications.
• Installing Riv-Nuts: Install and secure riv-nuts in panels to facilitate assembly and fastening.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in linishing and flatting welds.
• Skilled in drilling and installing riv-nuts.
• Attention to detail and high level of precision in work.
• Ability to follow technical specifications and instructions
