Job Title: CNC Miller

Job type: Nights, Perm

Location: Weymouth

Pay: £50,000 - £60,000 inc shift allowance

Hours: 6pm-6am Mon-Thurs

Our client has been producing some of the most complex and demanding parts that the aerospace industry requires, seeking perfection throughout every stage of the process for the last 45 years.

This role will include:
⦁ Set and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines
⦁ Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometres, SPG’s and PPG’s)
⦁ In process inspection to ensure total process control is maintained
⦁ Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards
⦁ Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and updated to reflect current process on job cards
⦁ Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out
⦁ Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times

Skills and experience required:
⦁ Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted)
⦁ Programming experience of Heidenhain (desirable)
⦁ Knowledge of Heidenhain control systems
⦁ Aerospace industry experience desired
⦁ Experience working with engineering drawings and work to instructions i.e. job cards
⦁ Ability to set and operate different machine tools
⦁ PC literate
