Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Additional Pay: Bonus Scheme

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Transport Administrator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport department by managing various administrative tasks and liaising with both customers and hauliers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, targeted environment and has experience within the transport sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the retrieval and requests for all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
  • Progress chasing by contacting drivers and hauliers to obtain progress updates.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly unbilled update reports.
  • Build and update collection and delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Liaise effectively with customers and hauliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Update and manage information across several platforms.
  • Maintain and manage spreadsheets with accurate data entry and updates.
  • Work efficiently in a targeted environment to meet deadlines and objectives.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Experience in the transport environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone with a polite and professional manner.
