Location: Huddersfield

Salary: Up to £33k

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:30am till 4:30 - Friday 7:30 till 2pm

overtime available all at x1.5

Based in Huddersfield, our client are specialists in ink doctoring systems and anilox rollers, Absolute and Pamarco been working in the flexo industry for decades, including all the big names and all of the specialist suppliers you’ve heard of.


Job description

The role of CNC Milling, setter operator will include the following duties:

⦁ Edit programs, Setting & Operating 3 axis milling machines with siemens controls
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.

The ideal candidate will:

⦁ Have proven experience of setting and operating milling machines using Siemens controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
