HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV C Class 2  Driver’s  required  for  exciting new contracts.

Workforce are currently looking for experienced HGV C Class 2 drivers for new contract.

The opportunity – Workforce are proud to represent one of the world’s largest scaffolding brands they are looking for HGV Class 2 C drivers to work along side their current team to support a strong multisite midlands based operation.

Our client is looking for HGV C Class 2 drivers to distribute scaffolding products locally and nationally to larger scale multi unit building projects this job is multi drop between 5 and 10 per day dependent on distance travelled. There is no hand ball on this job as there will be a team to unload at all locations that is fully trained, in short you will only need to drive and strap.

Prior to starting this job you will need to do a first day induction that will take you through the safe systems of work and how to effectively strap etc., there is also first day drug and alcohol testing that will be done then re done periodically every 3 months.  

The hours of work can be long in keeping with law and legislation, days normally start between 05:00am and 07:00am in the morning.

Pay.

Days            

                       £15.69 per hour PAYE Including holiday pay

                       £14.00 per hour PAYE with holiday accrual

Weekends £19.05 per hour PAYE Including holiday pay

                        £17.00 per hour PAYE with holiday accrual

You will require.
• UK HGV C  Class 2 driving license with 12 months + driving experience in HGV C
• Valid UK CPC card
• Valid UK Digi Card

Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Drivers must have their category C License with no more than 3 points with no TT’s, IN’s, TS, DR, or DD codes showing. You must have a valid UK Digi Card and Full CPC. They also must be physically fit and happy to deal with the public.
