Location: Droitwich Spa (with potential travel to customer sites)
Pay: £19.95 ph
Shift : Monday- Thursday 7.30am-4pm/ Friday 7am-1pm

Role Overview:
The Senior Craft Person - Mechanical is a skilled professional responsible for the assembly and installation of pipe work systems in accordance with specified standards. This role involves overseeing both internal and subcontracted teams, ensuring high-quality, timely completion of mechanical projects, and upholding stringent health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
General Duties:
- Maintain exemplary housekeeping standards following 5S principles.
- Ensure health and safety compliance for oneself and others.
- Manage tools and materials, ensuring accurate tracking and allocation.
- Coordinate and allocate work to craft persons and subcontractors.
- Co-lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality, adhering to specified materials and procedures.
- Demonstrate flexibility and cooperation in response to changing business demands.
Mechanical Duties:
- Assemble pipework systems according to Work Instructions (WI1).
- Complete multi-section plantrooms efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned work.
- Sign off on job cards and test certificates.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing as required.
Role Requirements:
Mechanical:
- H&V Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent, or a minimum of five years’ experience in H&V site installation.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Ability to coach and mentor craft persons and assistants.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematic and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
General:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
