HGV 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 - Amesbury

We are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver for permanent positions at our busy chilled distribution site based in Amesbury (Wiltshire). The role consists of refrigerated trunking and multi drop deliveries on days. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift available:

• Friday to Tuesday start between 01:00 - 05:00
• Wednesday to Sunday start between  11:00 – 16:00
• Wednesday to Sunday start between 11:00 – 16:00
• Sunday to Thursday start between  11:00 – 16:00

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
• Saturday £17.85
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
• Saturday £20.39
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
