Schedule: One of the two below 

Monday - Thursday 6:30am till 3:30pmpm - Friday 6:30 till 12:30pm

Or

Monday - Thursday 9am till 6pm - Friday 7:30 till 1:30pm

overtime available at x1.5

Based in Glossop, our client is a precision engineering specialist to a number of major industries.

Job description

The role of CNC Milling, setter operator will include the following duties:

Program, Set & operate 4 Axis Haas milling machines.

Program, Set, operate 9 axis Doosan Mill/Turn Machine - Fanuc

Be able to use basic inspection equipment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling machines using Fanuc or Haas controls.
• Experience with cad/cam would be beneficial.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
• Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
• Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
• Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
• Professional and self-motivated attitude.
• Good organisational & time management skills.
