Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Stourbridge
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 per annum
Hours: 7.00am to 4: 00pm/4.30pm (30 Minutes lunch) Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 1.00pm-1.30pm Fridays

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to come in a support the maintenance manager of the facilities, layout, and machinery used by their production team, to reduce downtime and maximize output.

This role will be dealing with preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and attending breakdowns of mechanical equipment ensuring Health & safety is maintained.

Day to day duties will include the following:
• Working on CMMS
• Complete total preventative maintenance inspections, servicing, repair
• Attending faults to machinery or plant equipment
• Fabrication/ manufacture of components for maintenance repairs
• Setting up& maintaining critical equipment database

You will need the following experience:
• Previous mechanical engineering experience or qualifications
• Previous experience working on CMMS.
• Organisational skills
• Communication skills
