Job Title: Window Fabricator (Aluminium or UPVC)

Location: Stourbridge

Hours: Monday - Friday 7.00am- 4.00pm 

Salary: £12.00 - £14.00 per hour

Job Description:

Workforce are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Fabricator to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Window Fabricator, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality aluminium or UPVC windows, including shop front windows, according to client specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication: Manufacture and assemble aluminium or UPVC windows, including shop front windows, according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Quality Control: Ensure all products are fabricated to the highest quality, meeting both company and client standards.
• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently handle materials, including cutting, shaping, and preparing aluminium or UPVC components.
• Tool Operation: Operate a variety of hand and power tools necessary for window fabrication, maintaining equipment in good working order.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth production flow and meet project deadlines.
• Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot fabrication issues, adjusting as necessary to ensure high-quality output.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a window fabricator, particularly with aluminium or UPVC windows. Experience with shop front window fabrication is highly desirable.
• Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
• Tools: Familiarity with and ability to operate standard fabrication tools and machinery.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve production goals.
