Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

Position Overview:

As a TIG Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in crafting bespoke products, working primarily with stainless steel (99%) and occasionally aluminium (1%). You will handle material thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 6mm, with most projects involving 1-3 units of the same design. This role requires a high level of skill in TIG welding and fabrication to ensure that every product meets our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium materials.
• Fabricate bespoke components to precise specifications.
• Work with material thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 6mm.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Occasionally work overtime, with additional pay at 1.5x the regular rate.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator, particularly with stainless steel.
• Strong understanding of TIG welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with bespoke fabrication and handling small production runs.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays.
