HGV Technician/Mechanic

We have a vacancy for a qualified and experienced HGV Technician/mechanic. We operate a fleet of Mercedes and DAF vehicles and trailers ranging from 3.5 tonnes to 44 tonnes. We would also consider applications from semi-skilled or trailer technicians.

You should be able to carry out periodic safety inspections, repairs, servicing, and be able to prepare and present vehicles for MOT. You'll need an HGV licence to take the vehicles to test.

Our HGV workshop team are required to diagnose faults, service and repair all types of vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are maintained to legal standards. In addition to this you will be required to keep your work area clean and tidy and complete relevant paperwork.

Our shift patterns are:

Week One: Early shift: 06:00am until 14:30pm

Week Two: Late shift: 12:00pm until 20:30am Plus Saturday: 7am – 12:00pm.
