Job Title: Robotic Spot Welder Operator

Join a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Robotic Spot Welder Operator to join our dynamic team.

Location: West Bromwich

Working Hours:

• 39 hours per week on a 2-week rota shift pattern:
• Shift 1: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
• Shift 2: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm.

• Hourly pay rate: £11.75 - £12.00 (based on experience) with an additional 22% shift allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate robotic spot welders and ancillary equipment.
• Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues affecting production rates.
• Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced.
• Maintain up-to-date production and quality-related records.
• Ensure good levels of 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) are maintained in the work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes, driving improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures diligently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
