Location: Redditch, UK

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM / Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Pay: £16.00 to £19.00 per hour

Job Type: Temp -Perm 

We are seeking a competent CNC Spring Maker to join our team in Redditch. The ideal candidate will have experience setting CNC compression coiling machines and a keen eye for detail to ensure tight tolerances in coiling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC compression coiling machines.
• Maintain high attention to detail and work within tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Use supplied measuring equipment to ensure precision.
• Run machines at high speeds to meet production goals (currently around 1,200,000,000 units per month).
• Manage and take ownership of their work, ensuring it is moved to the next workstation efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Spring Maker with CNC machines.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary up to £35,000+ per year, dependent on experience.
• 36-hour working week with potential overtime available.
