Job Title: MIG Welder (Skip Fabrication)

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM/ Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Location: Stourbridge

Salary: £14.37 per hour

Duration: Temp - Perm 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding to fabricate skips, ensuring structural integrity and quality.
• Weld the four sides of each skip, ensuring all welds are secure and meet safety standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately complete welding tasks.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Report any issues or defects to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder, preferably in skip fabrication or a similar field.
• Ability to produce at least four skips per day, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
