Machinery Operator

Job Title: Machinery Operator

Hours: 42.5 per week from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities

Location: Solihull

Salary: £12.00-£13.00 based on experience

Duration: Temp - Perm 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various hand and power tools
• Utilize guillotine and brake press machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Operate an overhead 5-tonne crane
• Load and unload deliveries
• Perform general workshop duties and basic machine operations
• Use a band saw for steel cutting
• Manage stock control efficiently
• Prioritize tasks and demonstrate flexibility in working methods
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Maintain general housekeeping standards
• Undertake additional duties as required

Qualifications:

• FLT Counterbalance licence (desirable)
• Proficient in operating an overhead 5-tonne crane
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
