Job Title:          CNC Vertical Borer Programmer

Location:         Dudley           

Hours:             MON – THURS 8.00AM – 3.30PM

                       FRI 8.00AM – 11.30PM

Pay Rate:         £34,000 - £38,000

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Vertical Borer Programmer for our client in Dudley. Founded in the 1940's, this well-established company is at the forefront in providing engineering solutions in sub-contract Large Part Precision Machining and Heavy Steel Fabrications.

What’s the job?

• Soft and Hard Turning on CNC Vertical borer, Massa MV 200
• Setting, Programming and operating a range of CNC Vertical turn/mill centres
• Use of CAD/CAM to assist programming (training can be given on our Dolphin Software)
• Working to drawings provided ensuring all work is of the highest standard

Who can do this?

• Experienced in programming Fanuc,
• Experience in setting work, tools and editing programs
• Excellent knowledge of programming codes
• Insert selection knowledge essential
• Ability to Work on large components.
• Previous hard turning experience
• Ability to use CAD/CAM (advantage not essential)
• Suitable candidates should be fully experienced in the relevant discipline's and be able to demonstrate specific product and technical knowledge
• Ability to self-inspect and measure using micrometres, Vernier's, depth micrometres etc.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in programming and centre lathe turning
