About the role

Background and details:

You will be based in our Redditch Depot working within our brilliant Service team. A key part of your role will be to support each Service Supervisor in Redditch in the efficient and effective running of the service team, by allocating workloads to mainly Routine Maintenance Engineers and responding to customer service requirements. Therefore, you will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To support the Service Supervisor in the efficient and effective running of each service team,
  • Ownership of the Regions customers Servicing process which includes:
  • Weekly monitoring of Komtrax systems to identify our customers service requirements
  • Open service jobs with parts identification and ordering.
  • Schedule and delegate workloads effectively to Routine Maintenance Engineers – coordinating with the Service Supervisor.
  • Ownership of the walk around inspections and issuing of associated customer quotes.
  • Service job processing to invoice on completion of the service activity
  • Assist in managing customer queries and resolve issues in coordination with the Service Supervisor
  • To support the PSSR (when required) in raising customer quotes
  • Answer calls and redirect to relevant persons.
  • Data processing.
  • Contacting customers via phone and email.
  • General Administrative duties.
  • Filing documents

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Worked in similar environment previously (Workshop / Field based planning)
  • GCSE’s or equivalent
  • Excellent customer relations experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and strong communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Experience of Heavy plant and machinery – desirable
  • Technical knowledge of Komatsu products – desirable
