Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (18 tonne) seeking a long-term opportunity? MGC Logistics is hiring a Permanent HGV Driver to join our growing team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate HGV vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Multi Drop 10-15 drops per day
• Vehicle will be pre loaded
• Deliveries & Collections
• Execute timely and secure delivery of goods to designated destinations.
• Conduct thorough pre and post vehicle checks of the HGV.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs.
• Uphold company policies and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Valid and clean HGV (Cat C) driving license.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an HGV Driver.
• Clean license desired.
• Familiarity with HGV maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS Check.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items.
