Our client is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data cabling solutions or telecommunications, with a proven track record of driving business growth and building lasting client relationships. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding their client base.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data cabling and telecommunications markets. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Work closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.


  • Experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the data cabling solutions or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of data cabling solutions, telecommunications infrastructure, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
