Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: Kidderminster

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am – 5pm

Day to day duties will include the following:

 

  • Manage potential sales leads from the quoting stage through to ordering.
  • Grow and maintain existing and potential customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Conduct follow-up calls on quotes and employ negotiating skills to convert them into orders.
  • Source external prices from suppliers as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing team to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling and responding to all queries.
  • Compile accurate and efficient customer quotes in a timely manner.

 

Experience Required:

 

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the sheet metal industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and focused, with a flexible attitude towards work.
  • Effective team player who understands customer needs.
