Job Summary: As a Machine Operator with basic CAD experience, you will be responsible for operating machinery to produce high-quality components while utilizing basic Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for part programming and design adjustments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of the production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Operate machines and other manufacturing equipment to produce parts according to specifications and production schedules. 

  • CAD Programming: Utilize basic CAD software to create and modify part programs, including tool paths and machining parameters, based on engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Setup and Adjustment: Set up machines for production runs, including loading raw materials, selecting appropriate tooling, and configuring machine settings. Make adjustments to machine programs and settings as needed to ensure accurate and efficient production.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools to verify the quality of finished parts, ensuring they meet customer requirements and quality standards. Make adjustments to machine programs or processes to correct any deviations or defects.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

As a person you'll need:

  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with sheet metal.
  • Basic knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software- Vector 2D (additional training will be provided).
  • Familiarity with machining processes and programming concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
